The Law Collaborative, Los Angeles offers second opinions and divorce coaching to individuals who are concerned about how quickly (or how slowly) their divorce is proceeding, how well informed they are about the process, or how to decide which new protocol or approach would be most appropriate for their case. Divorce coaching is in the nature of a legal second opinion. The California professional rules of conduct prohibit an attorney from talking to the client of another attorney unless that client is seeking a second opinion. Clients have the right to consult with a second attorney if they are confused, unhappy, anxious, or concerned about the way their case is progressing.
Attorney and founding partner Ronald Supancic has practiced family law exclusively for over forty years. He was certified by the California Bar Association Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist at the program’s inception in 1980 and in September of 2010 was honored by the State Bar for thirty years of service as a Certified Family Law Specialist. Ron is a Court Panel Mediator, a fellow of the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers, and is accepted by the Los Angeles Superior Court as an expert in the Standards of Practice in Family Law. Ron’s qualifications and experience give him the unique ability to provide second opinions on complex family law cases have reached an impasse, are too costly, or aren’t going anywhere. The Law Collaborative, Los Angeles is available to assist people who want to know what has been done in their case, what hasn’t been done, what needs to be done, and what the various scenarios and outcomes might be in a given situation.
